Study notes

Sarah bears Abraham a son, Isaac, when Abraham is old, and later Abraham sends Hagar and the boy away, and she wanders in the Beer-sheba wilderness. God tests Abraham by telling him to offer up Isaac on a mountain in Moriah, but Abraham ends up offering a ram in place of his son.

From Genesis 21:1–3 (KoS), Genesis 21:14 (KoS), Genesis 22:1–2 (KoS), Genesis 22:13 (KoS).
